Love the Parrot Island Playcenter but want a little more height? The XL raises the deck to 5′8″ and stretches the slide to a full 10′, giving kids a higher lookout and a longer ride down. The whole playset measures 13′ x 23′, with plenty of ways to climb, swing and explore.
A BYB tarp roof covers the 24 sq. ft. deck, creating a shaded hideaway high above the yard. There’s 6′3″ of head clearance under the roof, so kids can stand tall as they survey their island kingdom.
Reaching the deck is an adventure in itself. Kids can head up the wooden step/rung combo ladder, tackle the rockwall with multi-color rocks and yellow rope, or make their way up the rope ladder. Four safety handles and three ladder handles offer steady grips along every route. On deck, the ship’s wheel and telescope set the stage for seafaring stories, and the tic-tac-toe panel adds a friendly challenge. The trip back down is a 10′ scoop slide.
The swing beam stands 8′10″ tall and comes loaded with a tire swing, a red belt swing, a blue belt swing, a disc rope swing and a trapeze with rings. Coated chains help prevent pinched fingers, and three swing positions let you mix up the arrangement any time.
From scaling the rockwall to pumping higher on the swings, every part of this playset encourages active, imaginative play that builds motor skills and hand-eye coordination. It’s a backyard destination kids will want to explore day after day.
Look for a level spot that leaves about 6 feet of clear space around the entire playset, with no fences, trees, structures or overhead wires in the way. Unsure about your layout? While many mass-produced swing sets rely on thin, inexpensive lumber, we craft ours from thick, chemical-free solid cedar lumber. Our wood comes from certified mills that practice sustainable harvesting, and it naturally resists insects, decay, warping and twisting.
Strength is built into every Tree Frogs set, with no hazardous metal protrusions anywhere. We cut each support gusset from one notched timber and build our swing beams from solid 4×6 lumber, never laminated. The payoff is years of play and plenty of peace of mind.
Our custom-designed slides feature thicker walls and a sturdier base than you’ll find on most playsets. They’re made to last years longer than competing slides, and kids will keep lining up for another turn.
